The Democrats are back to asking me for support and donations.  Here is today's message:

 Donna --

Our fundraising numbers from June are in. Along with President Obama's campaign, we raised $71 million, making this month our biggest yet. That's something to be proud of.

But we still got beat. Mitt Romney and the Republican Party raised more than $106 million -- making it the second month in a row that they outraised us, this time by $35 million.

That's a big gap. And if we don't do everything we can to close it now, we risk losing more than just a fundraising race in November.

Donate $3 or more today to close the gap.

Donations from Democrats like you are directly helping us at all levels across the country.

Over the last three months, your donations have helped us:

-- Continue to open field offices in all 50 states, including our 30th field office in the battleground state of Pennsylvania.
-- Hold nationwide voter registration drives and register hundreds of thousands of people.
-- Organize the National Youth Summit, which gave more than 1,000 young people the tools to organize in neighborhoods and on their college campuses.
-- Run a four-day, six-state "Romney Economics: The Middle Class Under the Bus" tour highlighting Romney's failed economic record and vision -- which received an astounding amount of local press coverage, showing that exposing Romney's record is working.

We're working hard to make sure Democratic candidates win in November, but we've got an uphill battle if Romney and the Republicans continue to outraise us at such a pace. While Mitt Romney and the Republicans rely on mostly big donors to fund their campaigns, in June alone, more than 700,000 donors stepped up to support the DNC and Obama campaign.

We've got to do everything we can to put a stop to the Republican momentum -- so donate $3 or whatever you can to close the gap. It can't wait another day:

And, here is my response, and please allow me to say, I could not be happier to learn the Republicans and Presidential Candidates Mitt Romney has raised more funds the Democrats:

Patrick,

Why is it so difficult to get the DNC to understand, I have chosen to leave the Democratic Party?  My first email sent in response to your email was sent over a month ago.  In that message and every subsequent one I wrote since has reiterated the fact I have left the Democratic Party.

I do not want to be associated with the Democratic Party.  I strongly disagree with the DNC's leadership.  However, I find myself in greatest disagreement with President Obama and Nancy Pelosi.  I also find many of the commercial being aired on behalf of President Obama repugnant because of the way the facts are being twisted or in some cases, outright lies are being told.

President Obama's campaign in 2008 was filled with lies; therefore, it does not come as a a surprise President Obama is lying in the current campaign as well.  I worried over the election in 2008 because I found many of his statements to be disconcerting.  Over the past four years my concerns have risen sharply, and I do not believe President Obama understands how difficult life is for the average American.

My concerns are not just with the President.  I question Nancy Pelosi judgment in almost every comment she makes.  I believe the woman possess a less than stellar moral code and she appears to be eager to antagonize the Republican  Party with every opportunity she can find.

Her questionable ethics which allowed her to profit from information known to her because of the committees on which she served were nothing but legalized insider training.  This loop hole should have been sealed years ago by Congress.  I am sure Ms. Pelosi is only one of many who have profited in this manner, but it is especially displeasing to see her profit from information known to her by her committee participation at a time when many Americans have  seen their life savings and stocks take a huge nosedive.

I became a Democrat in my early twenties because I believed the Democrats cared about American citizens.  I truly believe Democrats had the best interest of the country in mind when ever they wrote or voted upon a new law, policy or program.  I no longer believe this is true.

Today I believe Democrats are causing irreparable harm to our country.  President Obama has led us to a level of debt which has far exceeded what his predecessor did.  President Obama promised the American people the Affordable Care Act would not raise taxes.  We now know from the Supreme Court ruling his words were untrue.  Americans who do not obtain health insurance for whatever reason will see their taxes raised.

Unemployment and our economy, as well as the world's economic problems are of major concern.  President Obama has no real solution.  I believe his actions make
the United States and the world even more unstable.

I almost voted the Republican ticket in 2008, but I decided perhaps the DNC understood something more about Barack Obama than I did.  Now I know I, like many other Democrats who questioned the party's choice, made the wrong choice.  Whether the DNC wants to admit it or not, there are a lot of Democrats who are making the change to become either Republicans or Independents.

We do not believe the President or the DNC understand the challenges and difficulties we face.  We see President Obama and Nancy Pelosi as bullies who blame Republicans whenever things do not go their way.  They totally overlook how their language and behavior is antagonistic.  It is no wonder Republicans do not want to work with the two of them.  I do not believe the Democrats understand their constituents and their needs.

I know Democrats do not represent my concerns.  I am disabled, and my husband was had several lay-offs before his final lay-off a little over three years ago.  There are no manufacturing jobs available.

He is an Air Force Veteran who served in the first gulf war and Columbia.  He is currently suffering grand mal and minor seizures.  When he went to the VA Hospital, he was told he would be placed on a two year waiting list.  It seems there is a two year waiting list because the hospital is overflowing with veterans from WWII, Korea, Vietnam and the current gulf war.

We have been living in an inexpensive motel because we lost our home and everything in it.  There are several families with young children who also live here because their families also lost their homes.  During the academic school year, we see the school buses make their twice daily stops in the parking lot.

The highest childhood hunger rates in the United States are where we live.  Every time there is a disaster around the world, the United States is one of the first countries to respond.  Why is our government not solving childhood hunger here at home first.  I am not saying the US should not send assistance for world catastrophes, but we should be placing a greater priority in ascertaining the US does not have a childhood hunger problem.

Please do not ask me to support or donate to the Democratic National Committee.  I have left the party and have no desire to return.  I will be supporting the Republican Party henceforth, and I have changed my membership.  it is my hope Mitt Romney soundly defeats President Obama, and I hope any other Democrats up for election or re-election will be defeated by Republicans.  I am convinced if our country is to see a decrease in unemployment and an increase in jobs, we need Republicans to be in office.
