I hope seeing me back so soon isn't too great of a shock for anyone. I know I have been sporadic this month, but now that I am caught up with all of my email and other projects I want to stay that way. So here is the email I received today from the DNC:
This is your last chance.
The contest to win a free trip to the Democratic National Convention ends tonight -- and I want to make sure you get your name in the hat for this incredible prize.
I've been lucky enough to take some of our supporters to some pretty cool events with the President and the First Lady. But I can say without a doubt that this trip to the convention -- complete with VIP passes to events, the chance to meet President Obama, and sitting up front in the First Lady's section while the President speaks -- is the neatest experience I've heard of yet.
And what's better? All you have to do is chip in $3 or whatever you can today to be automatically entered to win:

I've got my fingers crossed for you,
Hildy
Hildy Kuryk
National Finance Director
Democratic National Committee
P.S. -- Seriously, Donna. You should enter right now.
The DNC cannot be faulted for being their willingness to give up, can they? LOL! They really are determined to find ways to get people to donate $3 or more. What amazes me is without receiving a penny from me and with a multitude of emails stating I have left the Democratic Party, they are still sending me almost daily emails asking for money and telling me how I can win this or that privilege by donating $3.
Does Hildy Kuryk really think I want to go to the Democratic National Convention? Does she really believe I would be excited about sitting with the First Lady during the convention? Is there any better evidence that no one in the DNC has read any of my responses to the emails they have sent me? Over and over again I have stated, "I have left the Democratic Party and I do not want Obama to be re-elected."
Missouri Representative is now adopting the $3.00 donation policy, too. Didn't I just mention yesterday that I thought he is helping the Democrats? Now he's following their $3 donation plans, and he hopes to raise $100,000 by midnight tonight. Surely, voters are smart enough to see how much harm he is doing, aren't they?
No matter what Democrats might do on the campaign trail, it is essential for Republicans to keep the focus on the economy, employment (particularly the lack thereof) and Obama Care. Those are the issues which have the attention of American voters. We want to know how those running for office can improve the past damage on these issues.
It amazes me every time I hear President Obama state how his plans are working for Americans. We already know he believes the private sector is doing fine which is about as factual as saying Martians are boarding the Mars Rover so they can visit planet earth! Unless he's has entered a parallel universe in which the 1960's sit-com, My Favorite Martian, is now his reality, I know of no reason why the President believes the private sector is doing fine.
I so wanted to believe in Obama Care, but I now know it is creating more problems than it is helping. Yes, it allowed patients to keep their doctors, but unfortunately, it does not always allow doctors to keep their patients. Many doctors have to refuse care to patients because it is financially perilous for the doctor to care for said patients.
I was thrilled to see some of the liberal media have come to the same conclusions I have. Finally, they are beginning to recognize President Obama, Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats do not have an effective plan for battling unemployment and a very weak economy. I can only hope and pray more will reach this same conclusion.
We are heading into convention time. Americans of both parties, particularly undecided voters, will be watching. Those participating in the Republican Convention need to stay on topic and give clear explanations for how a Republican Presidency can get Americans back to work, get the economy moving again and pay off the beyond ridiculous national debt. If the speech writers and delivers can stay on topic in clear and concise language, I believe there will be more undecided voters and former Democrats who will realize what I have -- we must not and absolutely cannot have another four years of an Obama Presidency.
I just watched HLN's Afternoon Express special report from "Cafe Mom." Yesterday she was in Youngstown, Ohio talking to mothers. All of them were in agreement about their major concern when choosing the next four years President was the economy and unemployment. Today she gave her report from Reading, Pennsylvania which has now been described as "the poorest city in America."
I was pleased to hear one woman say how disappointed she was with President Obama. This woman went on to say she campaigned heavily for President Obama four years ago and even donated to his campaign. She continued by saying how great her disappointment is, and she is now looking at voting for Mitt Romney.
I hope the powers that be in the Republican Party are watching HLN's Cafe Mom reports. These reports are showing I am not alone in being a woman who formerly voted for Democratic candidates in previous elections. There are other women who like me are planning to vote for Mitt Romney, even though we previously voted for Obama.
I wonder if President Obama and the DNC are familiar with the adage about a woman scorned? If not, they better ask someone about it. The number of women who now believe President Obama let them down is growing. We are disappointed with the dream Obama and his supporters gave us which we now know had little to do with reality. I hope the number of scorned female voters who will be voting for Mitt Romney will come as an unpleasant surprise to Obama and the DNC.
